Share Market News Today | Sensex, Nifty, Share Prices LIVE: Dalal Street benchmark indices started Monday’s trade deep on red as bears tightened their grip on Dalal Street. S&P BSE Sensex tanked 1,300 points to sit below 56,000 while NSE Nifty 50 dived over 400 points to give up 16,600. Bank Nifty was down more than 2.5%, below 34,700. Broader markets mirrored the fall. India VIX was up 10%, regaining 18 levels. State Bank of India was down 3%, followed by Tata Steel, Mahindra & Mahindra, HDFC Bank, and Bajaj Finance. Infosys was the top gainer on Sensex, up 0.32%, followed by TCS.
