Improved consumer sentiment along with a concentrated wedding season aided overall recovery. Also, ABFRL turned net cash positive this quarter. In addition to the new initiatives/acquisitions during the quarter (Reebok, Masaba and Tasva), ABFRL announced its foray into acquiring D2C brands with plans to leverage its expertise to help these businesses scale up. Factoring in the beat in performance, we are raising FY22/23e Ebitda by 11/7%. Maintaining our target EV/Ebitda (21x) and a roll-forward to Jun-23e yields a revised TP of Rs 347. Maintain ‘Buy’. Robust performance: ABFRL reported a 40% y-o-y jump in revenue to Rs 28.8 bn. Overall recovery touched 112% of Q3FY20. Segment wise, Madura was up 58% y-o-y with recovery at 128% of Q3FY20 (98% last quarter) and Pantaloons was up 31% y-o-y with recovery at 98% of Q3FY20. Lifestyle brands’ retail channel recorded growth of 30% over pre-Covid levels. The easing of restrictions for shopping malls, which constitute a large share of the store network, helped improve the recovery. Also, the wholesale channel for Lifestyle brands saw an improvement in traction. While margins for Pantaloons are in line, Madura reported a beat driven by lifestyle brands. Also ABFRL turned net cash at the end of the quarter, generating OCF of Rs 10 bn driven by working capital release. ABFRL does not expect this to reverse. Outlook: Strong show on recovery – We maintain the target EV/Ebitda of 21x and roll over the valuation to Jun-23e, yielding a revised TP of Rs 347. While the origin of the centre is India, we expanded our talent base to Vietnam, Mexico and Poland. This name change is an assertion to our partners, customers and the vibrant talent ecosystem. As a software company, we apply cutting edge software techniques to solve some of the most challenging problems across domains such as mobility, manufacturing, sustainability and consumer goods. This name change aptly represents the company’s identity, capabilities, competencies, global scale and the pivotal role it plays in product engineering at Bosch. What are the initiatives undertaken as part of the rebranding?The change scripts a new narrative, culture and attitude in our innovative and software-driven world. Our rebranding has three main pillars. Strengthening our innovation focus with targeted investments: We recently inaugurated state-of-the-art Hacker’s Garage, an ‘innovation’ fund to promote an environment where promising ideas can be nurtured, incubated, and scaled. Our DNA (Discover, Nurture, Align) startup incubation programme has seen its fifth cohort this year. What is the employee strength at BGSW? What are your hiring plans for 2022?We currently have an employee base of 25,000 associates globally and plan to recruit about 5,500 associates in 2022 that includes talent from premier universities in AI, ML, cybersecurity, computer vision, and other new-age technologies. What are the types of skills that you are looking for from new hires?Our work involves the application of electronics and computation to solve domain problems. For example, in mobility —autonomous driving, vehicle computing, gateways, V2X (vehicle-to-anything) connectivity, electrification, safety are some of the most challenging problems that our engineers work on. There are similar opportunities in healthcare, energy and other domains. What are some of the challenges that are faced by the tech community presently?Transitioning from traditional mobility to next-generation mobility will be a challenge from capability transformation perspective. A Different Perspective on Foster Care

Coal India’s total dividend payout this year likely to be higher than FY21

[ad_1] The total dividend payout by Coal India during the current fiscal is likely to be higher than the 2020-21 financial year as the miner is expected to post healthy revenue and growth in profit, sources said on Sunday. A “decent second interim dividend” for 2021-22 is likely to be announced on Monday, they said. The Maharatna public sector undertaking has already announced the first interim dividend at Rs 9 per share in December this fiscal to provide support to the government for its growing expenditure in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. The interim dividend outgo was around Rs 5,546 crore and the government was the largest beneficiary as it received approximately Rs 3,667 crore for its over 66 per cent stake in the coal behemoth. Other categories of investors had the remaining share. “The total dividend payout is likely to be higher this year as profit and revenue are expected to be better,” a source said. The miner had announced a total dividend at Rs 16 per share last fiscal. “The bottleneck for Coal India to give high dividends is its inability to hike coal prices this year due to several factors. The bottomline (profit) gets affected by increasing input costs. A fresh round of wage revision is also pending. An announcement in this regard is expected after the assembly elections in five states,” another source said. A board meeting of Coal India will be held on Monday to consider and approve the third-quarter results. “The board will consider the payment of second interim dividend if any,” the source said. A dividend between Rs 5 and 7 per share in the second round of cash payout to shareholders is likely to be announced, an analyst said. [ad_2] Source link
