Singh, who has been heading the marketing function at the two- wheeler major, is being elevated to this newly constituted role, Hero MotoCorp said in a statement. “We are now entering a new era of opportunities and growth, with the world rapidly coming out of the pandemic. As we gear up to further consolidate our leadership by leveraging these emerging opportunities, we must stay nimble and dynamic which requires synergies between the key customer-facing functions of Marketing and Sales & After-Sales,” COO and Chief Human Resources Officer Mike Clarke noted. Naveen Chauhan, who has been heading the Sales & After-Sales (SAS) function since April 1, 2020, has decided to move on and pursue opportunities outside of the company. [ad_1] Air India completed 46 years of air service between India and Maldives and to commemorate the occasion A-267 was greeted with a water cannon salute at Male airport on Monday. The air carrier operated its first flight from Trivandrum to Male in February 1976. Air India shared a clip of the occasional salute on Twitter. The video showed water propelling from opposite sides and the aircraft moving in between the water canopy as it lands on the Male airport. AI-267 then slowly glides on the runway.  The clip has been viewed, shared and liked by several netizens on the social media platform since it has been shared. “Great achievement. Given the consistent decline in Coronavirus infections, regular international flights are also likely to resume from March 15, government sources reportedly said on Monday. A decision on resuming scheduled international flights has almost been arrived at by the Civil Aviation Ministry following consultation with the Health Ministry, as per a PTI report. However, no official announcement has been made by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation so far. The Drugs Controller General of India (DCGI) has also granted final approval to Biological E’s Covid-19 vaccine, Corbevax, for children between the age group of 12-18. Corbevax vaccine is India’s first indigenously developed Receptor Binding Domain (RBD) Protein sub-unit vaccine against covid-19. The Health Ministry had earlier stated that additional need for vaccination and inclusion of population for vaccination is being constantly examined by the states and Centre. “The @CDSCO_INDIA_INF has granted emergency use authorisation to COVID-19 vaccine #CORBEVAX for 12-18 year age group. It is India’s 1st indigenously developed Receptor Binding Domain Protein sub-unit vaccine against COVID-19.This will further strengthen our fight against COVID19,” Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya posted on twitter.
