Russia Ukraine War LIVE NEWS February 27 Latest News: Ukraine has rejected the peace talks offer sent out by Russian authorities. Amid heaving fighting that has reached major Ukrainian cities, Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky has called out the international community to strip Russia of its special ‘veto’ powers in the United Nations Security Council. Giving the reason behind why Kyiv turned down the offer of peace talks, the Ukrainian President’s office said that Russia was trying to force an ‘unacceptable ultimatum.’ Moscow had offered the negotiations to be held in Belarus. The Russian officials had also added that even though they may offer to talk, the military offensive will continue.

Kyiv says that Moscow is trying to impose such terms that will never be acceptable to Ukraine thus giving an impression to the world community that Russia is the one with bigger heart and willing to hold talks.
Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin has issued a new message. In a televised address, Putin has ‘lauded’ the Russian troops, saying that they are valiantly fulfilling their duties towards the motherland. While on home front, Putin may not face any significant resistance, the international stage is a fast becoming a lonelier place for him. On Sunday, the International Judo Federation has suspended the Russian President as its honory President and ambassador. Putin, who holds Judo black belt, has faced tough reactions from the sporting community also.
In other related development, as many as 11 nations have closed their airspace to Russia. As per the data available with FlightRadar24, Slovenia, Lithuania, Ireland, Romania, Bulgaria UK, Poland, Czech Republic, Latvia and Estonia are among the major nations that are now stopping Russian flights entering their airspace.
