It was an interesting shopping week. I walked into Aldi 4 days after an ice storm shut down most of the city. The shelves were almost completely empty! I ended up stopping at Walmart also (right next to Aldi), as well as a roadside stand, so we could make it through this week. Hopefully things are restocked next week, and this is not the new normal. Also…every week for about a month now, Aldi prices have continued to rise. 
I plan to try out Lidl next week to compare.
